Dorset Plane Pull

Want to know what’s involved in the Dorset Plane Pull? It’s quite simple really – although by no means a small feat. Teams of 20 people enter to pull a Boeing 737 weighing in at 35,000 Kg a distance of 50 metres to raise money for charity.

The weekend kicks off with a parade from The Slug & Lettuce down Old Town and onto the Quay, there will be music from Samba Panashe followed by children from local schools & community groups, the children will be dressed up in fancy dress and some parading their homemade seacreature masks or fish they have coloured in.
